Nixya'awii Community School -

The Nixyaawii School Board election is Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 7:30 am to 7pm in the school office at 46250 Timine Way, Pendleton, Oregon. Four candidates are running for two positions: Ashley Picard, incumbent, Andrea Hall, Candice Patrick, and Nina Watchman. The four year term will run from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2029. Voters must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible to vote: 1. employee of a CTUIR entity or Nixyaawii Community School; 2. a parent of a student currently enrolled in Nixyaawii Community School; 3. a resident within the boundaries of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. Voters must be 18 years old or older, and must present proof of voter eligibility.
